Trunk or Treat

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!  The St. Simon Knights of Columbus have asked to carry on the St. Simon Annual Trunk-or-Treat night alive!  This year’s event will be held on Sunday, October 28 from 4-6 p.m.  The Knights will provide the hot dogs and chips for the kids, plus a couple of fire pits to roast marshmallows.

As in past years parents will be asked to park their cars in the parking lot and decorate their trunks if they choose.  Trick or Treating around the lot will begin at approximately 5 p.m.

This is a great family event for the kids of the parish!

Respect Life Sunday

The Central Indiana Life Chain Committee would like to invite you and your family to be part of the National Life Chain Sunday. Please join us for ONE HOUR of prayer and be counted as one of thousands across the nation to stand up for the unborn in prayer before our Lord.

Each year, hundreds of other churches gather on Meridian Street in downtown Indianapolis for ONE HOUR of SILENT prayer. Each participant will hold one of our mass-produced signs with messages supporting life.

The chain will be preceded by the Respect Life mass at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral downtown. If you are interested in attending or are a 4th Degree Knight and wish to attend in regalia, please contact pro-life director Dennis Quigley.
