Congratulations to St. Simon parishioner Ella Hagenow on representing St. Simon the Apostle Council all the way to the State Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship.
She made 17 of 25 free throws at the state competition good enough to be the runner-up in the 10-year-old girls division, just one shy of tying the winner who shot 18.
Our council is still proud of Ella’s competitive spirit and her determination to be back in 2014 and win.
